Description
A Practical 2-Hour Webinar for Managers and HR Practitioners
Resolve workplace conflict fairly, effectively, and before it escalates.
Employee grievances and interpersonal conflict are an inevitable part of managing people. When grievances are poorly handled, they can escalate into formal disputes, damage working relationships, and expose employers to unnecessary legal and operational risk.
This practical 2-hour webinar is designed to equip line managers, HR practitioners, and IR professionals with the knowledge and tools needed to handle employee grievances correctly and mediate disputes between employees in a structured, fair, and legally compliant manner.
The focus of the session is firmly on practical application — what to do, how to do it, and how to avoid the common pitfalls that often derail grievance processes.
What the Webinar Will Cover
The webinar will address, among others, the following key areas:
• The purpose and role of grievance procedures in the workplace
• Understanding what constitutes a grievance (and what does not)
• Distinguishing between grievances, misconduct, and performance issues

• Procedural fairness and employer obligations when handling grievances
• Practical steps to investigate and resolve grievances internally
• When and how mediation can be used to resolve workplace disputes
