Effective Implementation of the EEA

Effective Implementation of the Employment Equity Act:

Plans, Committees, Meetings and Reports

12 February 2025

The Employment Equity Amendment Act, effective from 1 January 2025, has ushered in a new era of workplace transformation.  This isn’t just another regulatory change — it’s a fundamental reimagining of how we approach diversity, inclusion, and equality in our organisations.

The Department of Employment and Labour isn’t just sitting back.  They’re gearing up for a year of rigorous enforcement, with sector-specific targets on the horizon.  For designated employers — those with 50 or more employees — understanding the nuances of the Act and its Regulations isn’t just important; it’s critical for your business’s compliance and success.

Join us at our upcoming workshop, “Effective Implementation of the Employment Equity Act.”

It’s a deep dive into:

  • The game-changing amendments and their practical implications
  • Strategies to navigate the Department’s enhanced enforcement measures
  • How to properly implement an EE strategy from A to Z
  • Practical steps to foster an equitable workplace that goes beyond mere compliance

Don’t let these changes catch you off guard.  Equip yourself with the knowledge and tools to not only comply but to thrive in this new landscape of employment equity.  To learn more about the Employment Equity Act and its impact on your business, book your place (booking form attached) on our workshop, Effective Implementation of the Employment Equity Act being held on 12 February 2025.  Alternatively, email us to discuss in-house training options with regard to plans, committee establishment and the scheduling of committee meetings and what is required of them: Gordon at gordon@gordonangus.co.za.
