Arbitrations of disputes are complicated and time-consuming. A lot of preparation of documents is required for proper information to be transmitted to the arbitrator of the dispute. It is a requirement of the rules of the CCMA that a pre-arbitration conference be held by the parties to the dispute to establish what the nub of the dispute is.
